Another weekend has come and gone, well, more like flew by! It’s finally starting to warm up around here like it should in the South,
and it’s seriously about time. That groundhog better be right about an early spring! The warm weather and beautiful sunny day provided the perfect scene for our photo shoot with Kristina and Steve at Duke Gardens yesterday. If you have never been to Duke Gardens we highly encourage you to check it out. Even in the middle of winter, the park is beautiful with it’s quaint bridges and rustic appeal, and it would make the perfect picninc spot with your someone special. We didn’t even make it through half of the park, and already almost two hours had flown by. There are so many hidden spots that make for great pictures, we could have spent hours there if Kristina and Steve would have let us! Kristina and Steve were so much fun to work with, and after they got warmed up, Steve’s antics were out in full force. Crawling like a
panther on a fountain (oh yes, it happened, in public), popping out behind trees, you name it. We couldn’t stop laughing, and watching Kristina’s reaction to Steve was even better. Thanks for a great shoot, we won’t soon forget it!
Here are some pictures from their shoot:
After we finished up with Steve and Kristina, Stacey and I decided to go walk around the Duke campus for a little bit, and soak up all the
sun we could get. We made our way toward to Duke chapel, which I haven’t been to since I was a kid, and Stacey had never been to. I forgot how impressive and absolutely beautiful the chapel is. Stacey said it reminded her of Oxford and some of the old cathedrals in England and I have to agree. The old architecture, beautiful arches and long aisles are just breathtaking. We both agreed that being a part of a wedding there would be an amazing experience! So, any future brides looking to get married at the Duke chapel, great choice and give us a call, we will gladly coordinate your wedding there :)
These pictures do not do the Duke chapel justice!
We hope everyone enjoyed your weekend as much as we did. If not, well, only five more days until it here again :)
